We had over 110 drivers out to compete on a fast course.  The little bit of drizzle that came down towards the end of the day didn’t seem to dampen anyone's spirits as many drivers continued to find more time on course.  Street Class There were seven drivers in AS with 143 Mark Ponusky taking the win in a 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 with a 47.396.  There was only one driver in CS with 111 Anthony Nunez setting his fastest lap of the day in his 2021 Mazda MX-5 Miata with a 51.722.  DS was stacked with fourteen drivers all competing hard for the win with 102 Jeff Bakken taking top honors in a 2021 Honda Civic with a 48.320.  There were six drivers in ES with 51 Charles Sinkler narrowly squeaking out the win in a 1999 Mazda Miata with a 49.885 over 22 William Brundige by only 0.118.  We had six drivers in FS with 74 Dana Nicgorski setting the fastest lap in a 2018 [...]

Written By David Bocchichio Photo by Bryn Gingrich DODGING ORANGE: FINAL RESULTS Street Class In SS there was one driver with 8 Brendan Wong in the 2012 Audi TTRS putting down a 59.671.  There were five drivers in AS with 143 Mark Ponusky in the 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 setting the fastest lap with a 56.730.  There was one driver in BS with 38 Audra Tella in the 2017 BMW getting a 60.098.  There were seven cars in DS with 93 Steve Twaddle in the 2013 Scion FR-S setting the fastest lap with a 59.163.  There were six drivers in ES with 148 Gavin Williams in the 2004 Toyota MR2 taking the win with a 58.828.  There were six drivers in FS with 28 Eliot Shanabrook setting the fastest lap in the 2018 Ford Mustang GT with a 59.749.  There were six driver in GS with 24 Chang Ho Kim taking the win in the 2019 Honda Civic with a 58.474.  There were 10 drivers in HS with 89 Justin Chen in the 2020 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback taking home the win with a 60.330.   Street Touring There were [...]

Written by David Bocchichio The biggest challenge for the weekend was definitely the weather with cool temperatures and rain for both days. A small group of people braved the weather for Saturday's Test and Tune, which gave the drivers plenty of laps to dial in their set up for the rain, and a tricky sweeper that would let you know when you had it wrong. This left several drivers picking gravel out of their wheels, including yours truly. Despite the weather, over 90 drivers showed up to compete on Sunday. Make no mistake, the real heroes of the weekend were everyone who volunteered to stand out in the rain to make the event happen. I want to extend a huge thanks to all of you!
