About Pit Talk Editor

A 25-year SCCA member, Melissa Introne is the current Pit Talk Editor. She has a multi-generational family history with ties to the club. Her late father-in-law, Robert Introne Jr., served as the Chairman of the club’s national Board of Directors; her husband, Steve Introne, has raced for over 25years across the country in Autocross and Road Racing, and is the reigning B-Spec National Championship. Her three children continue the tradition, holding T&S, F&C and Novice competition road racing licenses as well. She is National-level Flagging & Communication marshal, and has served as Crew Chief for her husband’s autocross, SRF3 and B-Spec racecars.

The NER SCCA 2019 Annual meeting will be held on Saturday, January 5th at the Radisson Hotel Nashua, New Hampshire. 2019 is the 75th anniversary of the founding of the SCCA right here in New England. Please join us to start this special year of celebration! Tentative schedule of events: Saturday, 1/5/2019 8:00 am – noon:  Racing, Solo, Rally Meetings Noon – 1:30 pm: Worker Awards Luncheon (returning after a two year hiatus) 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm: NER/SCCA Annual meeting with election of Board of Directors 3:30 – 5:00 pm: NER/SCCA Town Hall 5:00pm – 6:00 pm: BOD Executive Meeting 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm: Happy hour 6:30 pm: Annual Awards banquet Rooms can be reserved at the discounted rate of $110/night by calling the Radisson at (603) 888-9970 and mentioning the New England Region SCCA Annual Meeting.
