2022 Track Volunteers Needed The 2022 NERRC season is about to begin. The organization, management, and running of these events takes a tremendous amount of manpower, and is done exclusively through our network of club volunteers. BUT WE NEED MORE HELP! With our growing number of competitors, we need even more volunteers to staff all the specialties to ensure events operate efficiently and smoothly, as well as safely. Here's how you can help. BRING A FRIEND Grab a friend, neighbor or family member and bring them with you to the next event. When not watching and cheering on your sessions on track, ask if they'd like to get closer to the action and volunteer for a session or two in one of our specialties. SPREAD THE WORD Our track volunteers get up close to all the action. When sharing your racing stories, also share that non-drivers can still be right in the midst of it all when volunteering at events. POST A FLYER Print off one of the attached flyers and post it at your work, business, or favorite coffee shop. Anywhere people who like having #funwithcars might see it. Start Preparing NER's club racing program would like to thank all of the drivers who participated in the 2021 New England Road Racing Championship presented by Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park series this year. Congratulations to all 24 Champions. If you haven't checked out the full list of season results, and who drove off with their 2021 title, see the full list here. We look forward to honoring each of these winners at our Annual Meeting on January 8. Additionally, a huge THANK YOU to all of the workers! None of these weekends would be possible without our dedicated team of volunteers that are directly responsible for the success of each race event. With that said - it's time to start preparing! NERRC Championship Weekend
NERRC Season Concludes at Thompson Speedway It's hard to believe the 2021 NERRC season is almost over. After the tumultuous 2020 season and the continued uncertainty for what 2021 would look like when we kicked off with our Driver's school in April, it is a testament to the dedication of all our volunteers and club racing leaders that we hosted every event successfully this year. While some of our national drivers will be away at Indy competing at the Runoffs, the New England Road Racing Championship Weekend Event will be taking place at Thompson Speedway the weekend of Friday-Saturday, October 1-2. NERRC Championship Decisions Heading into this final weekend, 12 NERRC drivers have already secured their 2021 Championship title. However, 11 classes are still up for grabs. The final placements from this event will determine who wins the season. Remember - points from Championship Weekend count for double!
