Another Year Under the Lights

140 entries took to the track for our first NERRC event at Thompson this year, which happened to also be our Midnight Madness night race. The morning Qualifying sessions were doused by rain, but the weather cleared for the afternoon races, and by the time the lights came on, it was a beautiful night for racing. In fact, during the Group 4 race, spectators (and drivers if they happened to glance in the right direction briefly) were treated to fireworks lighting up the sky behind Turn 10.

With such a long day, the biggest thanks need to always go out to the volunteer workers that started in the morning and were manning station well into the night. Thank you to everyone that gave their time to make this popular event happen.

Congratulations to James Cutler and Zachary Kelly on setting new track records last weekend.
