63 NER Drivers and Workers Head to VIR for the 2019 SCCA Runoffs

It’s the long-awaited arrival of the premiere amateur motorsports competition taking the stage at the famed VIRginia International Raceway. A track with a long history, it has been the desired location of many racers for the ultimate winner-take-all event for years – and it is finally here!

Drivers, crew, families, volunteers and spectators are making their way across the United States to the border between Virginia and North Carolina for a week of the best in road racing. When it’s all said and done, 26 drivers will stand tall as they claim their 2019 National Championship title.

Being on the east coast makes VIR a convenient location for NER members, and we can see just how popular this track and event are proving to be with 39 drivers registered to compete and 24 volunteers heading down to participate in the week of event operations.
