2020 NER Board of Directors Nominations
Nominations are now open for the 2020-2021 New England Region Board of Directors.
Every fall, half of our BOD terms expire, and a new slate of Directors must be elected. To nominate someone for the Board of Directors, a completed nomination form listing the nominee, their member number, and 10 signatures of NER members in good standing with their member numbers as well, must be submitted to appear on the ballot.
Elections are held each year at the NER Annual Meeting.
What does the BOD do?
New members may wonder what the BOD for the club does. Simply put, it is club members that are willing to spend a few hours a month attending a monthly meeting (or joining a phone call), reviewing documents, and helping make decisions about the operations and running of the club’s activities. Ideally, BOD members will come from all specialties – autocross, road racing, rally, time trials and even TNiA events – so that every arena is represented.
That’s it. A couple hours a month will make your voice heard and allow you to participate in ensuring the programs and events NER organizes are the best they can be.
How to Submit a Nomination
If you are interested in being nominated to the board, of you know of someone who should be on the ballot, print the Nomination Form and submit it to Bob Anderson, the current BOD Secretary.
Nominations can be mailed or emailed directly to Bob.
