RAL Donation Total
The final numbers are in! After totaling all the donations from the road racing, solo and rally events held during our annual Racing Against Leukemia weekend August 3-4, the region is very excited to announce that the total donation given to the UMass Memorial Medical Center is:
$14,922
In 2017, we gave $10,017. Last year, our donation to the children’s hospital was just over $9000. It is a huge testament to the generosity of our members, as well as the hard work of those that spent hours organizing and coordinating all of the RAL events, that we far exceeded both of those numbers this year!
Let’s Break $15,000
Given that we are SO CLOSE to the $15,000 number, the region has left the FirstGiving donation site open through December 31. All members have one last chance to make a final donation, and it will only take a few small contributions to get over that $15,000 benchmark and make this a truly record-breaking year.
