NER Worker Benefits

New England Region knows it’s the volunteer workers that make each and every event we host the success that it is. Simply put, there would not be a Road Racing program in particular without our workers. That is why, as a region, we try and consistently show are appreciation through offering fabulous lunches, end-of-day parties, our TRPs program, and the undying thanks from the Specialty Chiefs who coordinate and get everyone in the right place. (Not to mention the drivers that would not be racing if we did not have workers!)

In addition, NER began offering a few years ago a way for NEW workers to earn a free SCCA membership. And this year, we kicked off our Entry Fee Credit program where workers can earn $200 towards the cost of a Road Racing entry fee.

As we are now nearing the half-way point of our 2025 season, we wanted to remind everyone of these two programs and how they can offer a financial benefit to our volunteer workers. Here are the details again.

New Worker Membership Program

Work 3 weekends and earn a FREE one-year SCCA membership.

Value: $95

Details

Weekend 1: Free Trial Membership (Valid for the weekend only.)
Weekend 2: Free Weekend Membership (Valid for the weekend only.)
Weekend 3: Free ONE-YEAR MEMBERSHIP

Does not require any additional registration forms, just show up and mention you are a new worker and we’ll take care of the paperwork and get you started!

For existing members, TRPs coupons can be applied towards the cost of a membership renewal, and SCCA National offers VIP credits that offer additional discounts.

4‐5 days worked = $15 Membership Discount
6‐7 days worked = $22 Membership Discount
8‐11 days worked = $30 Membership Discount
12 or more days worked = $45 Membership Discount

Road Racing Entry Free Credit

Work one-full weekend and earn a credit for a future Road Racing entry fee.

Value: $200

Details

Work an entire weekend (no sessions off), in any specialty, and earn a $200 credit applied to the member’s MSR account for a future Road Racing entry fee (CRE included.)

Credit is good for one year from weekend worked, but non-transferable.

New workers, veteran workers, crew, friends and family can all participate in this program as a way to discount the cost of a future entry fee.
