It’s back-to-back National Championship season for SCCA. With SoloNats wrapping last week, next up is the RallyCross National Championships. The best RallyCross drivers around the country are descending on Pikes Peak International Raceway in Fountain, CO this weekend, September 23-25, 2022. This 16th-anniversary event will be the first time in over a decade that the premiere event will return to Colorado.
NER is sending two long-time RallyX drivers to compete. Hal Denham and Warren Elliott will both be racing 2006 Mitsubishi Evos – Hal in Modified All Wheel Drive and Warren in Prepared All Wheel Drive.
Friday will kick off the event, with the practice course open for live runs and the main courses open for walking. Then competition heats take place on Saturday and Sunday (two different courses), with the awards presentation Sunday night.
