Road Racing Entry Fee Credit Program

Earn $200 Towards an Entry Fee!

NER members, we’re excited to introduce a new Volunteer Incentive Program for the 2025 season! As part of this pilot initiative, any current NER member who volunteers at an NER Road Racing event—regardless of specialty—will receive a $200 credit that can be used toward any NER Road Racing or CRE entry fee.

This is a great opportunity for everyone in our community: drivers can take a weekend off or volunteer when they’re not scheduled to race; crew members can help out on weekends when their drivers aren’t competing; and family members can spend the weekend volunteering alongside our dedicated worker teams while supporting their drivers.

This program is being launched in collaboration with the NER Recruiting Team to strengthen our volunteer base and ensure the continued success of our club racing events. Join us, support the sport you love, and get rewarded for your time!

The Rules

The rules are simple, to earn the credit, entrants must work the entire weekend—both days—without missing any sessions, in any specialty. Only one credit can be earned per NER calendar race season, but the credit is valid for one year (365 days) from the completed weekend – so it can be used next season as well. The credit is non-transferable and can only be used by the volunteer who earned it. It will be applied to the member’s MSR account and may only be used toward an NER Road Racing or CRE entry fee. A 25-year SCCA member, Melissa Introne is the current Pit Talk Editor. She has a multi-generational family history with ties to the club. Her late father-in-law, Robert Introne Jr., served as the Chairman of the club’s national Board of Directors; her husband, Steve Introne, has raced for over 25years across the country in Autocross and Road Racing, and is the reigning B-Spec National Championship. Her three children continue the tradition, holding T&S, F&C and Novice competition road racing licenses as well. She is National-level Flagging & Communication marshal, and has served as Crew Chief for her husband’s autocross, SRF3 and B-Spec racecars.
