Annual Flag & Fire Rescue School Scheduled
NER is excited to announce that the F&C and EMS leadership teams are once again offering their annual one-day training session for F&C and emergency services. This event will allow participants to review all current and updated flagging rules and guidelines, and practice new and existing communication techniques – like radio calls and hand/arm signals. Additionally, participants will learn how to work with and support emergency crews, and this includes allowing each one the opportunity to use a fire bottle on a live fire.
Last year, roughly 60 people attended this training session to kick off the 2023 season. It included both first-time corner workers, as well as seasoned volunteers looking to refresh their skills and share their knowledge and experience.
Everyone is welcome to attend! Registration is open, and we ask that you do sign up so we can plan accordingly to have enough supplies on hand.
