Enjoy the Game and Raise funds for the Children’s Medical Center at UMass Memorial as part of our annual Racing Against Leukemia events.

New England Region SCCA members, their families, and friends are invited to come watch the Worcester Bravehearts baseball team play the Brockton Rox!  These two teams are part of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England (FCBL) which is comprised of elite collegiate athletes competing in a minor league style format during summer break.  The Bravehearts’ home games are played at Fitton Field at The College of Holy Cross conveniently located in downtown Worcester, MA; a short driving distance from the intersection of the I-90 Mass Pike and I-290, also near the northern termination of state route 146.

Numbered box seats costing $9 each make the outing very affordable. Pre-purchased tickets also include a voucher for a Bravehearts souvenir hat!  Free parking is available in the adjacent garage.  Kids will have a chance to meet Bravehearts team mascot Jake the lion and may be lucky enough to have him autograph their souvenir hat.

Chicken strips, hot dogs and hamburgers with all the fixings, cold beverages (water, soft drinks, and beer), ice cream, cotton candy, and more fun foods are available in concession stands at the park. NER has arranged for group seating on the third base side behind the Bravehearts dugout.

This special baseball game is going to be about socializing and supporting NER’s Racing/Rallying Against Leukemia (RAL) charity fund raising.  For every ticket purchased online by club members, the Worcester Bravehearts are contributing $1 for RAL.

Put this date on your calendar and plan to come join the fun!

You can pre-purchase your tickets online at www.worcesterbraveheartsgroups.com.

Launch-a-Ball Fundraiser

NER will be the recipient of the “Launch-a-Ball” fundraiser that night at the game. Fans can purchase “soft” balls for $1 each (cash only) during the game. After the last inning, they will launch their individually numbered balls onto the field and try and land them in a moving target. Picture the Bravehearts mascot riding around on a four-wheeler with a large bucket. If your ball lands in the bucket – you win! Proceeds from the sale of the balls will be split 50/50. The winning fan receives half the money, and the balance is donated to RAL.

*If more than one ball lands in the bucket, the winner will be randomly drawn from those winning balls.
