Pit Crew TV Reality Series

As the Editor of Pit Talk, Rachel Macy contacted me in her search for contestants for a new TV reality show – a car competition series focused on the pit crew. She is primarily looking for a diverse cast she can present, hopefully to include a few females from the New England area.

If anyone is interested in throwing their wrench into the pit lane, contact Rachel directly to begin the discussion.

Specific details on the process include:

Participants must be 18+ to be considered.
Casting process is a phone interview, zoom interview and any videos/photos that pertain to the interview and each participant’s story. (Interviews would be with Rachel.)
Casting is ongoing from now through 2/14. Reach out to Rachel today!
All cast (as well as production crew) will need to clear a background check.
Filming will be in Miami and will be for 6 days within the window of 3/8 – 3/21.
This series will lean into Formula 1.
We are open to athletes, college (current and former), former pro, recreational league, etc.
Open to anyone that wants to shoot their shot and has the drive to give it their best.

A 25-year SCCA member, Melissa Introne is the current Pit Talk Editor. She has a multi-generational family history with ties to the club. Her late father-in-law, Robert Introne Jr., served as the Chairman of the club’s national Board of Directors; her husband, Steve Introne, has raced for over 25years across the country in Autocross and Road Racing, and is the reigning B-Spec National Championship. Her three children continue the tradition, holding T&S, F&C and Novice competition road racing licenses as well. She is National-level Flagging & Communication marshal, and has served as Crew Chief for her husband’s autocross, SRF3 and B-Spec racecars.
