Last Year’s Success – Now on to 2020
In 2019 the people from the New England International Auto Show reached out to the New England Region of the SCCA to see if the Region was interested in setting up a promotional display. We jumped at the chance. Spearheaded by Brian Mushnick, and with a great group of volunteers, we had 9 cars on display on the main floor of the auto show. It was a huge hit and one of the most popular stops where attendees were able to explore the different race vehicles and even sit in them as well!
For 2020, the Region will return to the Boston Convention center January 16-20. Jeff Adams will be coordinating and organizing our attendance for this year.
Once again, we plan to have a large group of cars on display showcasing off all the options SCCA and the New England Region offer to have #FunWithCars. This includes Club Racing, Rallyx, Solo and our Track Night in America programs.
Sign-Up to Volunteer
Online sign-ups for volunteers at the auto show are now available. The region is looking for members that are knowledgeable about all aspects of SCCA and feel comfortable talking to large groups and strangers about the different racing disciplines. Volunteers will also assist show visitors with getting in and out of the vehicles on display.
Volunteers will receive free admittance to the Auto Show, but are responsible for providing their own transportation to/from the convention center, as well as paying for their own parking.
