$250 Early Registration Fee Gets 2.5 Hours of Track Time

9:00 am Mandatory Drivers Meeting (All drivers)
9:15 am Additional classroom session. (Required for all drivers without SCCA Comp License.)
10:30 am (approx.) 30 minute qualifying (after Majors race group 3)
2:15 pm (approx.) First 1 hour segment start (after Majors race group 5)
3:30 pm (approx.) Second 1 hour segment start.
2-Hour Enduro Added to Last Chance Majors
The NER Club Racing program is excited to announce an addition to the Last Chance Majors schedule for the August 15-16 weekend at Thompson Speedway.
At the completion of racing on Saturday afternoon, the region will be adding a 2-hour Enduro session. This additional event will be a separate registration and run similar to a CRE, which means a SCCA competition racing license is NOT required to be a driver during the Enduro.
Participants will be given one 30-minute qualifying session to set the initial grid for the race. Then the actual 2 hour Enduro will be broken up into two 1-hour segments. At the 1 hour mark there will be a black-flag-all with a 15 minute break during which time cars may exit the pit lane and return to the paddock for fueling and driver changes. Cars will then be re-gridded and the second segment will be re-started with a single file start behind a pace car.
The early registration fee is just $250 – regardless of the number of drivers! 1 or 2 behind the wheel, price is the same. That’s 2.5 hours of track time for that price. (Wait until after online registration closes on August 11, and the fee goes up to $350.)
Vehicle Eligibility: This event is open to production-based cars and small-bore GT cars meeting SCCA safety requirements found at here and Spec Racer Ford. (Purpose-built racecars like Formula Cars, Sports Racers/Prototypes, Big Bore GT Cars and Pro series cars are not appropriate for this event. Vehicles should not generally be more than a 7:1 weight to horsepower ratio.)
