2024 Championship Weekend
The last race of the season is coming up this Friday and Saturday. Championship weekend at Thompson Speedway is ALWAYS two days filled with some of the best racing as the double points up for grab can determine who wins the season titles.
As our drivers prepare for the 2024 finale, here are the classes where titles are on the line, and everyone will want to be watching these races closely throughout the Friday and Saturday sessions.
Here are the top 5 to watch, where less than 10 points separates the top 2 drivers in these classes:
- FVR: Thomas Kenney and Gerard Owen Callaghan by 3 points
- ITB: Jeff Andrews and Stephen Ott by 10 points
- ITS: Justin Auger and Thorsten Becker by 5 points
- SRF3: Steve Owens and Ethan Bentinck-Smith by 4 points
- STL: Rob Sturgis and Peter Tonelli II by 8 points
Best of luck to all our NERRC competitors. The weather is looking to be fabulous. And we’re excited to be hosting a Trunk or Treat during the Worker Party on Friday night, so grab your costumes, decorate your pit stall, and bring some candy to share with everyone.
